Apr 16, 2013 (newstodate): While the first aircraft in its coming fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft are still grounded, Norwegian has announced seven new intercontinental flights in 2013.
Latest addition to the network are two weekly rotations between Oslo and Fort Lauderdale, starting from November 30, 2013.
Already in the coming schedule are two weekly rotations to Fort Lauderdale from Stockholm and Copenhagen, respectively, and from May flights be launched from Oslo and Stockholm to New York and Bangkok.
Pending the delivery of Boeing 787 aircraft, the routes will be operated with leased Boeing 767 aircraft.
The carrier has placed firm orders for a total of eight Boeing 787 aircraft.
