Apr 25, 2013 (newstodate): The Kazakh carrier Air Astana has opened yet another office in Europe, part of its strategy for expansion.
The new office is located in Madrid, Spain, and follows on earlier openings in Amsterdam, Milan, Paris, Prague, Vienna and Zurich as well as in Hanover and Frankfurt.
The office at Frankfurt is the carrier's regional HQs, managed by Susith Hettihewa as Air Astana Regional General Manager European Union.
The carrier's cargo sales and marketing in Europe has been placed with Kales Airline Services.
In the Air Astana fleet are now two Boeing 767, five Boeing 757, 11 Airbus A320 Family aircraft and seven Embraer 190.
Air Astana has also placed orders for delivery of three Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft for delivery from 2017.
