Apr 09, 2013 (newstodate): Icelandair is strengthening its North Atlantic product by introducing new flights to New York.
From October 28, 2013, the carrier will be offering four weekly flights from Iceland to New York Newark Airport in addition to the existing 10 weekly rotations on the route between Keflavik and New York JFK Airport served for more than 60 years now.
Newark will be the 11th Icelandair gateway in North America and the 36th destination within the Icelandair global route network.
