Apr 03, 2013 (newstodate): The Swedish carrier Nordic Air Sweden, operating under the name FlySwedish, is now in the air with flights on its first route.
Starting from March 28, the carrier has been offering two weekly rotations on the route Skellefteaa-Karlstad-London, operated with an Embraer E-170 on a lease from Estonian Air replacing earlier plans for flights with leased Airbus A320 aircraft from the Lithuanian carrier SmartLynx.
Starting from this month, the route will originate in Arvidsjaur, in northern Sweden, and flights on route from Arvidsjaur via Skellefteaa to Copenhagen will follow as well.
In June 2013, Nordic Air Sweden will add flights from Copenhagen to Skopje and Beirut, and in June 2013 flights from Arvidsjaur via Skellefte to Frankfurt as well as flights from Vaesteraas to Beirut are planned.
All flight plans have, however, been revised repeatedly.
