Apr 22, 2013 (newstodate): Sweden's first certified air traffic management provider ACR, operating since March 2011 has landed a new significant contract.
Ahead of the expiry of their current ATM contract with LFV, five Swedish airports teamed together to negotiate a common solution and have now contracted ACR for a period for four years starting from January 1, 2014.
The five airports are Norrkoping, Kalmar, Skellefteaa, Karlstad and Jonkoping that have gained significantly lower ATM charges compared to the existing contract with LFV.
ACR stated out with provision of ATM and MET services for the airports of Vasteraas, Orebro and Smaaland, later adding also Trollhattan-Vanersborg Airport to its customer portfolio.
