Apr 11, 2013 (newstodate): With Emirates' new route from September 4, 2013, between Dubai and Stockholm, the Swedish export airfreight market will get another 100 tonnes weekly capacity on the carrier.
Emirates SkyCargo is already a strong player in the Swedish market, lifting 546 tonnes out of the country in January and 700 tonnes in February, 2013.
The company thus accounts for about nine percent in market share in 2013 with significant growth rates.
Access to daily capacity in addition to the three-times weekly freighter service at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport will presumably further strengthen the carrier's grip on the market.
