Apr 17, 2013 (newstodate): Korean Air's acquisition of the minority stake in the Czech carrier CSA may bring new opportunities for its expansion into European markets that have so far been off-line.
With the cooperation between the two carriers, Korean Air will be in a position to transfer passengers from Seoul, South Korea, via Prague to a range of destinations such as Berlin, Barcelona, Brussels, Budapest, Copenhagen, Milan, and Warsaw for onward code-shared flights operated by CSA.
Plans are also to launch twice-weekly CSA flights between Prague and Seoul operating a Korean air Airbus A330-300 aircraft on a dry-lease agreement.
