In the first quarter of 2013, the airport has seen cargo volumes up by 34 percent, y-o-y, to 5,978 tonnes.
2,710 tonnes were domestic cargo - roughly unchanged against Q1 2012.
Growth was generated by international cargo that almost doubled in 2013, to 3,268 tonnes.
Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo International Airport plays a pivotal role in Russia, offering transfer and transit cargo services to operators including Lufthansa Cargo on routes between Europe and Asia since July 2008, and AirBridgeCargo.
