Mar 12, 2013 (newstodate): Turkish Airlines' cargo arm Turkish Cargo is strengthening its muscles not only on the passenger side, but also in the airfreight business.
The carrier currently operates a fleet comprising four Airbus A310-300F and three A330-200F aircraft, but has now signed a wet-lease contract with Malaysia Airlines for one further Airbus A330-200F.
Besides, the company has placed orders for delivery of another two Airbus A330-200F aircraft to join the fleet before the end of this year.
