Mar 21, 2013 (newstodate): Tajik Air, based at Dushanbe Airport, had added a new aircraft type to its commercial fleet.
Entering the fleet of Tajik Air is one Avro RJ100 aircraft on a lease from an Asian carrier.
The new aircraft will be used on route from Dushanbe to Almaty, in Kazakhstan, to Baku in Azerbaijan and to Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, with the first commercial flight to lift off on March 21, 2013.
In the highly complex fleet of Tajik Air are already six other aircraft types including Boeing 737, Antonov 26 and 28 as well as other aircraft types, with the fleet totaling 12 fixed-wing and three rotary-wing aircraft.
