At the conference, evidence was presented showing an estimated growth in air passenger traffic by five to eight percent annually over the period 2012-2031, depending on the economy's growth levels.
To meet this growth, Russia will need to take in between 1,900 and 2,400 new aircraft seating 100+ passengers.
