Mar 22, 2013 (newstodate): New in the Norwegian skies from this spring will be the privately-owned carrier flyNonstop.
The carrier will take delivery of its first aircraft around April 20, 2013, after the first test flight by the Embraer E-190 on April 13.
To be based at Kristiansand Kjevik Airport, flyNonstop will offer flights on a network including London City, Paris, Barcelona, Palma, Nice, Parma, Berlin and Dubrovnik.
Heading the fledgling carrier will be Daniel Lundblad, flyNonstop CEO, Espen Hennig-Olsen, owner & marketing manager, and Christer Paulsen, Sales manager.
The carrier is cooperating with the Dutch airline Denim Air and will probably operate under Denim Air's AOC with the aircraft on a wet-lease arrangement.
