In 2011, the over-all load factor was 75 percent, decreasing to 72 percent in 2012.
In its latest announcement, airBaltic's load factor in February 2013 was 62 percent, compared to 69 percent in February 2012 - and thus down to 2011-levels where the load factor in February was also 62 percent.
In February 2013, the airline performed 2,944 flights which was down 12 percent, y-o-y, and in February 2012 a total of 3,338 flights were performed, down another 10 percent, y-o-y.
Passenger-wise, airBaltic sold 158,558 seats in February 2013 compared to 180,476 seats in February 2012 - a drop by 12 percent, y-o-y.
Summing up on February 2013 compared to the previous year: 12 percent less seats sold on 12 percent less flights leading to a drop in load factor by seven percentage-points.
It should be taken into account, however, that February 2013 was one production day shorter than February 2012.
