Mar 12, 2013 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is moving from one to another airport in Istanbul, Turkey.
Starting from April 1, 2013, the carrier will operate its route from Riga to Istanbul into Sabiha Gokcen Airport, from its current position at Istanbul Ataturk Airport.
By this move, airBaltic will be able to better coordinate schedules with its European flights to and from the Baltics, Scandinavia, Russia, and the CIS region.
The service is operated on a daily basis using Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
