Mar 14, 2013 (newstodate): Starting from May 25, 2013, Korean Air will launch a series of flights to Norway during the summer season.
The flights between Seoul Incheon Airport and Oslo Gardermoen Airport operated for two Korean travel companies will be the first call by the Korean carrier to Norway with passenger flights, while Korean Air Cargo has been online with freighter flights from Oslo to Seoul since March 9, 2004.
The five passenger flights in 2013 will be operated with either Airbus A330 or Boeing 777 aircraft.
Industry sources expect that the seasonal service may also serve as a test for the possible opening of regular scheduled flights between Norway and Korea.
