Mar 07, 2013 (newstodate): Air Onix, starting flights on its first route on April 28, 2012, is now providing the only air link between Ukraine and Slovakia.
Starting from March 1, 2013, the carrier is operating three weekly rotations on the new route between Kiev Zhuliany Airport and Bratislava Airport, using Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
The carrier started up with one Boeing 737-300 aircraft, formerly operated by Estonian Air, adding a second aircraft in June 2012, an ex-Aerosvit Boeing 737-500, and only one month later, Air Onix took delivery of its third Boeing aircraft, another ex-Aerosvit Boeing 737-500, thus finalizing the first phase of its planned fleet structure.
