Mar 13, 2013 (newstodate): In February 2013, cargo volumes remained virtually unchanged at Estonia's Tallinn Airport.
A total of 1,773 tonnes of cargo was handling at the airport, including 1,654 tonnes of cargo and 120 tonnes of mail against 1,670 tonnes of cargo and 104 tonnes of mail in February 2012.
For January-February 2013, totals thus landed at 3,386 tonnes of cargo, up 8.9 percent, y-o-y.
Passenger-wise, the airport was down 13.6 percent, y-o-y, in February while aircraft movements were also down 15.6 percent, reflecting the cuts in traffic, destinations and operations by the airport's dominating carrier, Estonian Air that also saw its passenger volume down by 17 percent, y-o-y, in February 2013.
