Mar 06, 2013 (newstodate): Azerbaijan Airlines has sold two ATR 72-500 aircraft to Denmark's turboprop aircraft leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital.
The two aircraft, leaving Azerbaijan Airlines with two similar units, are now added to the portfolio of the the leasing company that will sell or place them on leasing contracts with other operators.
Set up in Denmark in 1990, Nordic Aviation Capital has its headquarters at Billund, Denmark, and regional offices in the US, Ireland, France, Switzerland and Singapore.
NAC provides worldwide sale, purchasing and financing of commercial turboprop and jet aircraft and currently has around 200 aircraft on lease worldwide to 30 operators.
