Mar 01, 2013 (newstodate): Denmark's Billund Airport saw negative growth in cargo volumes again in February 2013.
A total of 4,187 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, a decline by 9.9 percent, y-o-y.
Total comprised 1,774 tonnes of import cargo, down 13.3 percent, and 2,413 tonnes of exports that were also down by 7.2 percent, y-o-y.
Following a similar negative trend in January, totals so far into 2013 have dropped by 7.1 percent, y-o-y, to 9,031 tonnes, with imports down by 15.8 percent while exports have performed better with a slight increase by 0.8 percent.
