Feb 27, 2013 (newstodate): The UK low-cost carrier easyJet has developed an appetite for flights to Russia.
Starting from March 18, 2013, the carrier will launch flights on its newly-won route between London and Moscow after having seized the opportunity as BMI exited the route as a consequence of BA's acquisition of BMI from Lufthansa.
The carrier will offer two daily rotations on the route between London Gatwick and Moscow Domodedovo Airport, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
But the carrier is now also preparing the launch of flights on the first route to Russia from Manchester Airport, planning for four weekly rotations between Manchester and Moscow Domodedovo Airport with Airbus A319 aircraft.
