Feb 01, 2013 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Yakutia Airlines has now taken delivery of its second Superjet 100 aircraft.
The formal hand-over was on January 31, 2013, and upon completion of the relevant documentation the second SSJ100 will be put into service on the routes from Yakutsk to Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, Harbin in autumn and winter period alongside the carrier's first Superjet 100 delivered shortly before the end of 2012.
The airline will extend the Superjet 100 route network by adding Russian destinations Yakutsk-Novosibirsk-Nerungri, KhabarovskMagadan, KhabarovskPetropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for spring-summer period, as well as flights of international charter program from the Russian Far East.
Yakutia Airlines still has orders for a further two Superjet 100 aircraft.
