Feb 11, 2013 (newstodate): Russia's Nizhny Novgorod Strigino International Airport will be thoroughly upgraded over the coming years.
The City planning and architecture council has recently approved a draft of the future passenger terminal of Strigino International Airport, developed by Hintan Associates.
The new 22,000 sq m terminal will have a capacity of handling up to 800 passengers per hour, with an annual room for about one million passengers a year.
Construction works will start by Q2 2013, and the new terminal will be commissioned in Q2, 2014.
