Feb 21, 2013 (newstodate): The Polish carrier LOT has reportedly put further planned deliveries of more Boeing 787 aircraft on hold.
The carrier has so far received two Boeing 787 aircraft, currently grounded at Warsaw and New York, respectively, and was poised to take in the last remaining three aircraft before the end of March 2013.
The three Boeing 787 aircraft are among the 50 now produced and awaiting clearance to take off for delivery flights to customers once the FAA ban is lifted, most probably after pertinent modifications following on the finalization of the probe into the battery problems.
