Feb 5, 2013 (newstodate): New in the air above Georgia will be Air Caucasus.
Little is so far known of the venture that is reportedly based on Georgian/Arab capital and probably managed by ex-Sky Georgia CEO, Georgy Kodua.
The first route to be served will be between Tbilisi and Baku, in Azerbaijan, but plans are to expand with routes into the CIS, Europe and Asia, with Yerevan and Istanbul already in the pipeline.
The new carrier will reportedly select Airbus A320 Family aircraft for its fleet.
