Feb 28, 2013 (newstodate): In January 2013, SAS Cargo managed to increase its export cargo sales in the Nordic region by 14.2 percent, y-o-y.
The carrier sold a total of 2,932 tonnes of export cargo in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, against 2,567 tonnes in January 2012, according to CASS statistics.
In January 2013, SAS Cargo sales in the Danish market were 1,036 tonnes, up 44.5 percent, y-o-y.
In Norway, SAS Cargo's sales were 492 tonnes, down 25.5 percent, in Sweden the company's export volumes were up 11.6 percent to 1,257 tonnes, and, finally, in Finland the carrier's cargo sales volumes reached 146 tonnes, up 25.5 percent, y-o-y.
