Feb 27, 2013 (newstodate): Icelandair is seeing potentials for more traffic to and from the UK.
Effective from May 14, 2013, the carrier will add a third rotation on the route between Keflavik and London Gatwick, going up again to four weekly rotations from September 13, 2013.
These four weekly flights will continue through the next winter schedule as well.
The flights to London Gatwick serves as a compliment to the carrier's main UK gateway London Heathrow, served with two daily Icelandair flights but offering no immediate openings for further expansion.
