Feb 05, 2013 (newstodate): Georgia is increasingly coming onto the radar of West European low-cost airlines.
First to introduce low-cost traffic in the Georgian market was Hungary's subsidiary in Ukraine, Wizz Air Ukraine, launching traffic on the route between Kiev and Kutaisi Kopitnari Airport from September 27, 2012.
Now, Ryanair is reportedly also casting its eyes on the Georgian market, and already in autumn 2010 first mulled its interest in the new market, with tentative plans, so far not realized, for a launch of services from summer 2011, already.
