Feb 22, 2013 (newstodate): The Czech Republic's Prague Airport fell significantly in cargo volumes in 2012.
A total of 52,978 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, a decline by 15.5 percent, y-o-y.
International cargo was 52,185 tonnes, down 15.7 percent, while domestic cargo, 792 tonnes, increased by 2.2 percent, y-o-y.
Passenger volumes were also down by 8.3 percent, y-o-y, and the traffic was provided by smaller regional aircraft, explaining the decline in cargo carried to and from the airport in 2012.
