Feb 28, 2013 (newstodate): Despite a weak market in 2012, Denmark's Copenhagen Airport was still able to increase its all-year cargo volumes by 6.4 percent.
A total of 354,269 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, with positive growth in both imports, exports and transfer volumes.
Imports increased by percent 8.2 to 45,258 tonnes, exports were up 5.8 percent to 59,763, and transfer cargo volumes increased by 6.3 percent to 249,249 tonnes.
The positive boost in cargo volumes was especially marked in the latter half of the year as the airport's H1 performance was up only 3.5 percent, y-o-y, to a total of 166,310 tonnes of cargo
