Feb 18,2013 (newstodate): Airbus expects the Nordic markets to require about 540 new passenger aircraft between 2012 and 3031.
The totals include 450 single-aisle aircraft and 86 wide-body aircraft.
353 new passenger aircraft will be required for growth, while 183 aircraft will be for replacing existing and less fuel-efficient aircraft.
The new Airbus Nordic market forecast is based on analysis of some 35 carriers operating in the seven Nordic countries.
Airbus also expects travel to and from Denmark to grow by 3.4 percent annually during the period.
