Dec 04, 2013 (newstodate): The Russian carrier UTAir is preparing for a busy 2014 with the influx of no less than 22 new aircraft in the fleet.
Starting from June and till December 2014, the carrier will take delivery of six Superjet 100 aircraft of out a total order portfolio of 24 aircraft.
Starting from March 2014, the carrier will start receiving seven Boeing 737-800 and one Boeing 737-900 in 2014, out of an order portfolio comprising a total of 33 Boeing 737-800 and seven Boeing 737-900 aircraft.
Between February and August 2014, a total of eight Airbus A321 aircraft will be delivered from an order comprising 20 aircraft during 2013-2016.
With these new deliveries, the average age of the carrier's fleet will drop to eight years.
In the fleet of UTAir are now 109 aircraft, and orders have been placed for a total of 74 new aircraft
