Icelandair will thus be providing two daily flights to New York JFK Airport and four weekly flights to New York Newark adding up to 21 weekly rotations from Keflavik Airport.
Delta Air Lines is also to offer its seasonal flights to Iceland from New York JFK with four weekly rotations, bringing the total number of weekly services between the two destinations to 25 in summer 2014.
Delta Air Lines first launched flights on the seasonal route on June 1, 2011, offering a daily flight with Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
