Dec 12, 2013 (newstodate): The Faroe Islands' carrier Atlantic Airways has downsized its aircraft fleet with the sale of one aircraft.
The aircraft, the carrier's last remaining Avro RJ85, has been sold to the Canadian carrier North Cariboo Air that operates general charter services and support flights for oil and geological exploration companies.
With a new CEO from end of November 2013, Jorgen Holme, Atlantic Airways has now embarked on working out a new strategy for the airline that is now operating three Airbus A319 aircraft.
