Dec 06, 2013 (newstodate): Korean Air Lines Cargo maintains a strong presence in the Nordic markets - but volumes in October 2013 were down in three out of four countries.
In Denmark, the carrier's volumes dipped 21.3 percent, y-o-y, to 333 tonnes, in Sweden down 40.2 percent to 280 tonnes, and in Finland Korean Air Cargo was down 29 percent to 86 tonnes.
The rankings in these three markets were thus #7, #11 and #11, respectively.
Only the Norwegian market provided some growth for the carrier that was ranked #3 with an increase by 6.6 percent, y-o-y, to 1,093 tonnes in October 2013.
Korean Air Lines Cargo is present in both Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo with dedicated freighter services.
