Dec 05, 2013 (newstodate): Estonia's Tallinn Airport is not seeing growth in its air cargo volumes in 2013.
In the latest month reported, November 2013, a total of 2,056 tonnes of cargo was handled - a decline by 27.3 percent, y-o-y.
The total included 1,900 tonnes of airfreight and 156 tonnes of mail.
In January-November, the airport's total volumes thus stand at 19,464 tonnes, which is a drop by 11.4 percent, y-o-y.
Dominating the airfreight at the airport is import shipments, 88.3 percent of the total during Jan-Nov 2013, that are mainly imports from Istanbul by ULS, carried on trucks from the airport into Russia.
These volumes were down 13.3 percent, y-o-y, during the 11-month period.
