Dec 02, 2013 (newstodate): A rise in export volumes secured positive growth in November 2013 at Denmark's Billund Airport.
In November, the export volumes handled by Cargo Center Billund were up by 20.6 percent, y-o-y, to 3,443 tonnes, while the trend in import volumes remained negative with a drop by 4.8 percent to 2,309 tonnes.
November's total cargo volume through the airport was thus up 8.9 percent, y-o-y, to 5,752 tonnes.
The total volumes handled during the first 11 months were 58,815 tonnes - a modest increase by 1.6 percent, y-o-y, including 32,975 tonnes of exports, up 8.9 percent, and 25,840 tonnes of imports that dropped 6.5 percent, y-o-y.
