Dec 23, 2013 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI provider Jet Time will add more freighters to its fleet in 2014.
Currently in the fleet are two Boeing 737-300QC and one Boeing 737-400F converted freighter, and .
-One Boeing 737-300F converted freighter is expected to be delivered by early 2014 on a lease arrangement. We are also monitoring the market for lease of another Boeing 737-400F freighter, but no final decision has yet been made on this, says Klaus Ren, Jet Time CEO.
-One of the Boeing 737-300QC leasing contracts is set to expire by mid-2014,so we will soon decide on whether to extend the contract or hand back the aircraft to its owner. Actually, both Boeing 737-300QC aircraft are fully occupied with postal flights in Italy and Great Britain, respectively.
-We have now reached a rather good standing in the airfreight market as manifested by a growing volume of requests and proposals, so I would not be surprised if we eventually decide on adding still more freighters in 2014, says Mr Ren.
In the fleet of Jet Time are now a total of 16 aircraft, with two ATR 72-600 as the latest additions and soon to be followed by four more of the type dedicated to serving a contract with SAS for regional flights on its behalf in the Nordic region.
The airline was founded by a group of Danish investors and operated its first flight on September 19, 2006.
