Nov 22, 2013 (newstodate): Plans by Turkish Airlines Cargo to increase the freighter capacity in the Nordic region are still under evaluation.
-Our region is still being evaluated for addition of a third freighter frequency, so the plans still remain, says Cuneyt Oksuz, Turkish Airlines Regional Cargo Manager, Sweden, Norway, Finland.
Turkish Airlines Cargo currently operates two weekly rotations on a triangular freighter service routed from Istanbul to Helsinki and returning via Stockholm.
Mr Oksuz earlier told newstodate that it remained in the air if a future 3rd frequency would have the same triangular routing, or if it might operate into other airports like Gothenburg, Oslo or Billund.
