Nov 22, 2013 (newstodate): The Swedish IATA export airfreight market will probably end 2013 with a small, but positive growth in volumes.
Over the period November 2012-October 2013, IATA carrier generated a total of 102,314 tonnes of export cargo in the Swedish market - a growth by 1.8 percent, y-o-y.
SAS Cargo managed to hold its top position on the list, with an increase in volumes by 5.3 percent, y-o-y, to 16,519 tonnes.
Trailing closely behind was Lufthansa Cargo, rising no less than 30.6 percent to 12,108 tonnes.
Third on the list was KLM Cargo with 10,637 tonnes and up 40.6 percent, followed by Emirates, up 5.9 percent to 8,017 tonnes, and Finnair with 7,456 tonnes but down 12.9 percent, y-o-y.
#7 on the list, Singapore Airlines Cargo generated 4,652 tonnes increasing 23.6 percent, and Korean Air Cargo dropped 26.3 percent to 4,339 tonnes.
So, leading the market was SAS Cargo with a share at 16.1 percent, Lufthansa Cargo with 11.8 and KLM Cargo with 10.4 percent.
