Nov 19, 2013 (newstodate): SAS and Singapore Airlines have again expanded their joint-venture partnership to comprise more routes.
With immediate effect, Singapore Airlines has added its prefix to flights on SAS' routes between Copenhagen Airport and Berlin and Hamburg in Germany, Palanga and Vilnius in Lithuania, and Gdansk, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw in Poland.
Starting from March 31, 2013, Singapore Airlines increased the flight frequency between Singapore and Copenhagen from three to five weekly rotations, with SAS code-sharing on the flights.
Singapore Airlines and SAS have been code-sharing since December 2010, and in August 2013 the agreement was expanded to cover more destinations in Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
