Nov 26, 2013 (newstodate): SAS Cargo maintained its grip on the top position on October's IATA CASS list - but with a narrowing margin.
SAS Cargo carried 1,444 tonnes of exports cargo from Sweden in October 2013, corresponding to 15.6 percent of the market.
High on the heels came Lufthansa Cargo with 1,149 tonnes, 12.4 percent of the market, followed by KLM Cargo with 1,124 tonnes and 12.1 percent of the market.
But while SAS Cargo's volumes were down 1.4 percent, y-o-y, Lufthansa Cargo grew its volumes by 7.9 percent and KLM Cargo by 66.1 percent.
4th came Finnair Cargo with 782 tonnes, up 4.1 percent, followed by Emirates with 616 tonnes, down 9.2 percent, y-o-y.
The total Swedish IATA airfreight market increased by 3.6 percent, y-o-t, to 9,278 tonnes in October 2013.
