Managing the airport since April 29, 2010, Northern Capital Gateway with Fraport among its owners has announced the winner of its tender, closed by the end of this summer, for drawing up a master-plan for the airport's next decades.
Winner is the UK-based consulting company Pascall and Watson, now entrusted with the task of outlining the concept of the airport till 2040.
The master-plan will comprise development of the airport infrastructure including runways and taxiway systems within three scenarios based on various expectations for passenger volumes growth during the period.
