Nov 20, 2013 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic has signed a one-year contract with the Russian fueling company Gazpromneft Aero for fueling of aircraft at specific airports.
The Russian provider will be delivering jet fuel to airBaltic's aircraft at the airport of Barcelona, Paris, Kaunas, Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada, opening up for the addition of more airBaltic stations along the road.
The deliveries will be secured through cooperation between the Russian contractor and direct suppliers of aviation fuel including the French company Air Total, the Spanish company Galp Energia, and Lithuania's Baltic Oil.
