Nov 19, 2013 (newstodate): Romania has decided on a master plan for the upgrading of the country's airport infrastructure.
In the plan is the upgrading Bucharest Henri Coanda Airport and the airports serving Cluj, Constanta and Baia Mare.
Intermodal capabilities will be supplemented at Bucharest Henri Coanda Airport and Iasi International Airport, and the plan also includes the construction of a new cargo terminal at Cluj International Airport.
The priority will be on developing the country's domestic airport capacities, and the runways of Suceava Stefan cel Mare Airport and Constanta Mihail Kogalniceanu Airport have already been renovated.
