Nov 04, 2013 (newstodate): Since October 27, 2013, Qatar Airways Cargo is online at Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport with three freighter calls bound for Seoul and beyond, in addition to cargo capacity on the passenger flights.
Two of these services are operated with Airbus A330-200F freighters, while the third is still operated with Boeing 777F freighter aircraft.
The carrier launched passenger flights between Doha and Oslo with an Airbus A330-300 on October 5, 2011, going up to daily rotations from January 1, 2013.
And starting from January 29, 2013, Qatar Airways Cargo also became online at Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport with a Boeing 777F freighter as a stop on the route from Amsterdam to Doha, adding a second weekly flight from July 6, 2013.
In September 2013, the latest month accounted for by CASS, Qatar Airways Cargo was ranked 1st in the export market, lifting 1,715 tonnes of cargo out of Norway - a market share at 18.8 percent, and increasing 122.4 percent in volumes.
