Nov 28, 2013 (newstodate): In October 2013, all but two IATA carriers on the CASS' Top-10 list saw their volumes increasing.
The total IATA export cargo market was strongly up in Norway by no less than 13.8 percent, y-o-y, reaching 10,113 tonnes.
Growing the most in volumes was Cargolux, #8 on the list, with 489 tonnes, up 174 percent, y-o-y, while #2, Qatar Airways also grew its volumes significantly by 90.5 percent, to 1,544 tonnes.
SAS Cargo, #6, was up by 39.9 percent to 785 tonnes, while Emirates, #5, increased by 23.4 percent to 845 tonnes, and Singapore Airlines Cargo, #7, was up 12.6 percent to 500 tonnes.
On a more moderate scale, #3, Korean Air Cargo saw volumes up by 6.6 percent to 1,093 tonnes, and #9, Thai Airways grew its export tonnage to 458 tonnes, rising 3.7 percent.
That left #4, Finnair Cargo with a drop by 37.4 percent to 872 tonnes, while Lufthansa Cargo landed as #10 with a 36.9 percent decline in export volumes, to 413 tonnes.
