Nov 25, 2013 (newstodate): Helsinki Vanta Airport will see the return of Lufthansa on the route to Berlin.
After a few years absence, Lufthansa is back in the form of Germanwings, member of the Lufthansa Group, that will offer five weekly rotations starting from November 27, 2013.
Germanwings will operate the route with an Airbus A319 aircraft.
Starting from May 2014, Helsinki Vanta Airport will also see SunExpress turning from charter to scheduled flights on the route between Helsinki and Izmir, in Turkey.
SunExpress is owned 50/50 by Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines and operate a fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft.
