Nov 11, 2013 (newstodate): New airline customer at Worldwide Flight Services' cargo terminal at Copenhagen Airport is China Cargo Airlines.
Currently handled by the SAS Group SGH's cargo handling unit, Spirit Air Cargo Handling, China Cargo Airlines is moving to WFS with effect from January 16, 2014.
The carrier operates four weekly rotations between Shanghai Pudong Airport and Copenhagen Airport using Boeing 777F with capacity to carry 100 tonnes on each flight in and out of Copenhagen, accruing to some 3,500 tonnes of cargo per month with full loads.
The carrier is, however, continuously adjusting its flight schedules according to fluctuating market demands.
China Cargo Airlines made its first appearance in Copenhagen Airport in January 2007.
Selling the cargo capacity ex-Scandinavia is Cargo Care as the airline's cargo GSSA.
