From November 16, 2013, Air Armenia has added flights from Yerevan to St Petersburg, initially offering one weekly rotation on the route.
Founded in 2003, Air Armenia currently transports cargo and passengers to CIS states and Europe.
In July 2013, Armenia's CAA licensed the carrier to introduce flights to Moscow, Sochi, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and St Petersburg.
Air Armenia operates a modest fleet comprising one airbus A320 and one Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
