Nov 19, 2013 (newstodate): Blooming again after a prolonged death-struggle, Serbia's Air Serbia will become a new operator of the Airbus A320neo.
News were announced at the ongoing Dubai Air Show that Air Serbia will receive 10 Airbus A320neo aircraft during 2018-2020, to replace the fleet of two Airbus A230 and eight Airbus A319 currently being installed with the airline thanks to the fresh capital influx by its part-owner Etihad.
The 10 Airbus neo-aircraft are comprised by Etihad's order for a total of 36 of these aircraft announced at the air show.
The Airbus A319/Airbus A320 fleet will gradually replace the carrier's remaining fleet of 10 Boeing 737 aircraft.
Bent on expansion, Air Serbia plans to serve 39 destinations in 30 countries, offering 73,000 seats on more than 670 flights a week by June 2014
